Re: DRV 1.8.3 Problem
I have a MAX G30D II. Same issue mistakenly upgraded to 1.8.3. Instead of doing an ST Link that can brick the scooter, does anyone know if replacing the controller with a new one from AliExpress would fix the issue : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002692831794.html ?
This one is for MAX G30D. haven;t found one specific for MAX G30D II.

Re: DRV 1.8.3 Problem
Hi
I am new to scooters and in my haste upgraded the firmware throung ninebot app.
I have read a lot of posts - and one in particular caught my eye. It explained that the Firmware "block" lies with the BLE module (dashboard). Can anyone confirm this?
If so, shouldn't it be possible to buy a new dashboard or borrow one from a friend, temporarily mount it, then upgrade the firmware of the controller and afterwards swap back? All this without STlink?
I appologize if this is a stupid question.

That statement is only true on Xiaomi scooters, and doesn't apply on Ninebots. And yes, I know Ninebot also makes Xiaomi scooters, however they don't use the same security techniques.

Re: DRV 1.8.3 Problem
Is there any hope that will be possible to install custom firmware with bluetooth on 1.8.3 or should I buy new controller
Re: DRV 1.8.3 Problem
Just finished replacing the controller in my g30d2. Ordered a new original from a webshop here in DK.
Now i can change region /serial number to US and it goes 30 kmh.
I am definately NOT a solder-guy :D

Re: DRV 1.8.3 Problem
Hello, I also made the new update by mistake.
I'm currently with this:
BLE: 1.1.7
VRF: 1.8.3
BMS: 2.3.4
I tried to fiddle with Scooterhacking utility but nothing worked (data format error). I also tried with Xiaoflasher and Ninebotflasher)
I am now stuck in German (DE) and unable to change anything.
I hope SH will make an update to fix this but in the meantime does anyone have a solution please?
