You have to use DownG V36 (Mi3 compatible) for firmware.
And, after firmware, you have to flash a new BLE compatible ! (I recommand BLE 0.75 v10 for Mi3 from Cami)

For max speed with V5, you have to turn on the scooter with the brake pressed (hold the brake lever + power button)

For my mi 3, I use V6 with camiBLE 0.75 v10 and seem good, tested only a very short time !

Look at this, all is explain for mi 3 !!!

Thanks, it works now after BLE upgrade as you suggested.

But, with V5 firmware i can drive up to 29 km/h but not 35 km/h, do you know why this limit ?

Also, the scooter is no longer recognized by Xiaomi Home app , it always says : " scooter is not connected "
Is this normal ?

Speed on flat for me :
max 33/34km/h with 100%battery (70 kg)
with 50% battery...max 29/30km/h !

For Xiaomi Home app, I think it's normal...because you hack your scooter....lol !
But no need more Xiaomi Home app, you can do same thing with DownG or other app !

Strange...with V6, without turbo mode, max speed is 23km/h ! not 25

Tried V5 too.

I get the same error 42 but the scooter seems to work fine.

Looking forward to get a fix for this error by someone.

I test generating firmware in DRV223/DRV224, and I confirm that max speed is 30 km/h in this case...
I think the hack for 30 km/h limit don't work with scooter 3 !!! 😭

I have just tried flashing CamiAlfa BLE075_V10 using m365downg, but it ended up raising a 41 Error (scooter is not bricked, options can be changed using downG, but with a 41 error code).

But after that, I flashed the CFW V6 (v1.5.5) from https://mp365.es/hacktool/mi3/ (using DownG v36) and fixed the 41 Error Code in the same time! Looks like BLE075_V10 has some communication issues with the original firmware.

It's too cold out there to test right now, I'll keep you in touch in case of trouble.

Experimental support for the Mi Scooter 3 is now available on mi.cfw.sh by selecting the "Compat with newer Mi Scooter models" patch in the Basics section.
As a bonus, this patch also restores the proper display of the lock icon on the dashboard for compatible models (3/Lite/1S/Pro2).

This patch does not require custom BLE firmware, it's fully compatible with stock Mi3 BLE.
