SHFW and E-Series Amps

Postby Scooterman58 Sat May 07, 2022 3:25 pm

Hi everyone!

After installing the SHFW on my E22 with 20A, it is slower than before: acceleration and climbing is worse than before.
Any recommendations on reasonable Amp settings that are comparable to the stock firmware?

I experienced the same on my E25D with external battery. I can't believe that there is only 20A maximum current with the stock firmware.
With the stock firmware i have 660W Peak, and with 20A in the SHFW only 500W Peak.
The other thing i don't like with the SHFW is the lack of KERS, the magnetic Brake in the Rearwheel has to work much more.
There should be an option to select KERS or disable it.

I feel that the default firmware is a little bit on the conservative side. If you are going to be traveling at high speeds and accelerating quickly, I believe that you ought to turn the Amp setting all the way up to its highest possible point. The default firmware is approximately twice as cautious as necessary. drift boss
