Hacked my ES4 and now its slower

Hey guys.. i have 2 ES4's and they were running around 18-19 MPHs on "S" Mode. Now that i tried hacking them to make them faster they wont go over 13MPH. I Tried laying with the motor constant power but it did not help. I last tried resetting the scooters by holding down throttle and brake then turning off like it says on the ninebot site but that did not work either. help please
