I have a fleet of ES4 scooters, several in need of controller replacement. After replacing the controllers in a few, I consistently was getting an error 35. After reading around on the forum, I figured I needed to flash them and update the serial number in order to activate them.
After updating the serial numbers and flashing custom firmware using Ninebot-Flasher the scooters now run but have practically no power, maxing out at about 10km/h and unable to make it up the slightest incline. In addition to this, the scooters are beeping constantly despite no error code being present. This is not an isolated issue, I have the exact same problem on three ES4s now.
This has been my process thus far:
1) Update the serial number on the unit (kept essentially the same number but randomized the last four digits)
2) Flash custom firmware from https://esx.cfw.sh/classic (tried both default ES4 settings and custom options including removing the speed limit and increasing motor power)
3) Flash the BMS and eBMS with v.141 from https://files.scooterhacking.org/esx/fw/bms using Ninebot-Flasher
I have tried several different firmware options with no success. The new controllers I installed are from ninebot and definitely legit. I would sincerely appreciate any suggestions, as I have exhausted all my options!

Hi,
This error code is an issue about the serial number of the unit.

Re: Constant beeping after ES4 Flash
Thanks for the links, which error code should I be addressing? I assume you mean the error code 35 I referenced, but after flashing there is no error code on the dashboard, only a continuous beeping. I have already changed the serial numbers on each scooter from the default.Hi,
