Thanks @foxmaster! Please check your PM and thanks again for a kind replyWell if you have a retail scooter you should be able to just swap the battery over and flash it via bluetooth, though that depends on the BMS firmware version, as it might have flashing locked.
Did you suggest to proceed following the step in the quote above?
Thanks a lot for a kindky reply

Re: Ninebot IAP guide - how to flash your scooter with a cable
Hi folks! I've been able to successfully re-flash the DRV, BLE, and internal BMS of my former-rental ES4's using Method 2 mentioned above. Thanks so much for all the info on this site!
But I can't seem to find a way to flash the external BMS.
1) Do I bother? It seems to work fine as is...
2) I tried using the Segway iPhone app, but didn't see an option for the external battery.
3) Is there an alternate method I'm overseeing?
Thanks!

Hello all,
I flashed my ESC with STLink, it´s not possible on the dashboard.
I just bought a CP2102 to try to flash the G30D dashboard (no C2)
Question, with IAP is it necessary to rewire immediatly after flashing ESC? I was thinking about the risk to crash the dashboard then due 36V

Is it possible to flash ex-rental spin snsc 2.3 w/o swapping dash display? Can this be done with st-link alone? There is no c2 capacitor and no button on stock dash. Also does it do any good to solder in a button into stock dash?

Good day Ninebot enthousiasts,
I’m currently trying to connect a st link v2 to a controller for a e22d scooter but am not sure how and where to connect the wires to. Is it the same as shown for the ES series?
Kind regards

So I’ve found a wiring schematic and hooked up the st link to the controller, when I connect it to my laptop the board lights up. But I get a error: could not connect to target. I’ve checked the connections so that should not be the problem. Any ideas what I could do next?
