I have 2 years now a ES4.

The internal battery created problems and I open to create a new battery.
Now the internal battery is without BMS.
I created a new Custom Firmware from https://esx.cfw.sh/classic using the ES4 1.5.1 with the StealthMode activated, just to not check for BMS.
After flashing, with the ESx firmware code: sjvpfguhd2 I have 2 problems:
1.- I canot flash BLE. I canot return to original DRV or BLE.
2.- I dont have speed. I press the acceleraton and nothing. I move manual the scooter and the DashBoard show the speed. NO any allarm or error.
I read here that I must change Serial Number. I changed from the original N2LBH1842C0016 to N2GSD1111C0016 but nothing happend.

Any suggestions ???

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

Based on Method 3, how do we know which file to download from the several files displayed? My scooter is a Ninebot Max

I see that the SHU app can send custom commands to the scooter. It would be nice if someone can post the list of commands that can be sent(of course if it's just so simple).

I am interested to send some commands from another device(arduino board or raspi zero) in order to change the region back to original in case if police stop me for control. I have an iphone, I can't keep a second phone all time with me in order to change it quick in case if.

I'm not sure if its appropriate to post the following but it helped me a lot so I figured I would share. Based on other research I found for changing serials with the ninebot ONE and other models...I was able to get a new control board activated with ALL the features. The chinese clone board I had purchased was ALREADY activated but it was with a serial for a model that did NOT have "Disco light" control, so that option was missing in my app. However it had mode switching (eco, normal, red S Sport). Changing the serial to the original Bird serial number gave me the Disco Lights back, but removed mode switching.

So going by this picture:
Serial Breakdown.PNG
I was able to change the 4th digit from the E that the clone board had (or the R the bird serial has) to a T, which gave me both Mode switching and disco lights, and also put the picture of a ninebot scooter in my app when connected (no pic comes up when its a bird controller)
Hi guys
Sharing experiences like these can be incredibly helpful to the community. It's fascinating how tweaking the serial number can affect the features on the control board. Your story sheds light on the complexities of these devices and how small changes can lead to different functionalities.Nickname

I wasn't sure if it's appropriate to share this, but it really helped me, so I thought I'd pass it on. After doing some research on changing serials for the ninebot ONE and other models, I successfully activated a new control board with all the features. The Chinese clone board I purchased was already activated, but with a serial for a model that didn't have "Disco light" control, causing that option to be missing in my app. However, it did have mode switching (eco, normal, red S Sport). Changing the serial to the original Bird serial number brought back the Disco Lights but removed mode switching.story saver
