Max G2 double beeps while going over 33kph

Recently my scooter has been doing double beeps whenever I go at speeds over 33kph. It doesn't stop unless I go under that speed.
I never heard it until after updating to 1.5.1. Was this update the cause? I used BLE scanner to unlock the speed limit from 25kph and when I have it propped up off the floor, it doesn't trigger any beeping.
Why is it doing this and how do I turn it off?
