Motor not starting after tuning

Hi all, i'm new to this so i might write some silly stuff. I started hacking my Ninebot Max G30 and all works fine for what concerns lights (on/off and blinking behavior with specific frequency), and for what concerns UI with battery percentage, temperatures displayed etc.
The only problem is as soon as i put SHFW the engine stops working. I tried both putting 3 km/h and 0km/h for engine activation but the scooter won't go.
The only thing i could do was to revert DRV back to stock version and all starts working again.
What am i missing?
