Forum Ads - Can we tone them down a tad?

I see the forum is now enforcing forced ads (by means of an ad blocker-blocker).

I'm happy to contribute by means of turning off my ad blocker... however, these ads are a bit much.
For example, one of the mid forum post ad's is coming up as a 970x250 block. Another comes up as 1170x250. That's a bit excessive.

Any way we can turn the ad sizes down, even just a bit?

Hello!
Google was running benchmarks to determine the best level of ads. I wasn't happy with it either, so I manually turned down the advertisement rate.
It should be better by now.
