Re: App problem

Hi, thanks for visiting ScooterHacking!

On September 9th we had a major outage that caused most of the generators and all of the APIs to go down. Therefore any firmware you generated at that time would not actually download. The issue has since been fixed.

Re: I think I customed the wrong firmware to the wrong model...

Hi, thanks for visiting ScooterHacking!

I would suggest pressing the power button and holding it for as long as it takes you to upload the original Max firmware. If you don't let go of the button, the scooter should stay on.

Re: A question about the Segway Engine Speaker on a hacked Max

Hi, thanks for visiting ScooterHacking. Speaker support was added in Max DRV firmware version 145. The base version of our generator is 126, but we also have a 154 option available under the 'Basics' tab. If you want to use your speaker with CFW, it has a higher chance of working on that version (15...

Re: Xiaomi MI Essential and ScooterHacking Utility

is the Xiaomi MI Essential supported by the ScooterHacking Utility app and is it possible to unlock the 20km/h speed limit? It's possible to change the "region" (serial number) via SHU. This will give you about 25 kph. You can also use the pro2 generator ( https://pro2.cfw.sh/ ) to get CFW. This wi...

Re: SEAT eXS powered by Segway

Yes, the Seat is just a rebranded ES2. The difference is only visual. They worked with Segway on it, and they even have a second model - Seat Mó, based on the Max G30D. And Audi has one as well!

Re: Ninebot IAP guide - how to flash your scooter with a cable

Did you suggest to proceed following the step in the quote above?

Thanks a lot for a kindky reply
Well if you have a retail scooter you should be able to just swap the battery over and flash it via bluetooth, though that depends on the BMS firmware version, as it might have flashing locked.
