Re: Walmart Special ES4 Advice!

Hey guys, I scored 4 of the ES4-800 Walmart scooters for $199 each. Here is the steps I did to bring them to OEM Ninebot with Optional CFW Step 1: Solder ST-Link and flash OEM FW using this guide ( Skip the last part for Custom Firmware for now ): https://www.scooterhacking.org/forum/viewtopic.php?...

Re: Walmart Special ES4 Advice!

I've been offering free tech support to anyone that wants to text me. I appreciate the offer. I think we all would love to just have the info out here and build on it for future Googlers too. I assume you offer the free support because you're probably also selling pre-flashed boards, which is fine....

Re: Walmart Special ES4 Advice!

I bought 3 of these. 2 of them have oem green boards, 1 has a purple clone. I was able to flash the 2 boards via ST-Link successfully which unlocked bluetooth flashing capability and speed to 20mph among other things. I tried flashing the clone but bricked it and can't find the original firmware fo...

Re: Walmart Special ES4 Advice!

For the two of you that purchased dashboards online, I appreciate you taking the initiative!

Do we not think it would be possible to flash the current dashboard after doing the ST-Link method (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kba7yK9 ... e=youtu.be)?

Re: Walmart Special ES4 Advice!

Summary of where I'm at so far: I bought 2. Both have the flashing Bluetooth icon. When I connect with the official or third party apps via Android, the scooter beeps and Bluetooth logo becomes solid. Locked in Sport mode, 15.5 mph/25 km/h, can't flash firmware like everyone. Bluetooth features: -Of...

Re: Walmart Special ES4 Advice!

It's killing me that one of my scooter's display shows MPH, the other shows km/h and I can't figure out how to change them. For me, I was getting this too. in the Nine Dash Android app, there is a setting to "show in km/h", and that's off. However, if i turn it on, disconnect, reconnect, turn it of...

Re: Walmart Special ES4 Advice!

I bought this too so can confirm the above about being able to connect via Bluetooth to the official app as well as m365 tools and ES_downG. I haven't tried flashing any firmware but sounds like everyone fails. It's very weird that the box and manual both used to say top speed 18.6 mph and have stic...
